For those that are used to the simplicity of e-mailing rather than writing out letters and sending them through the postal mail old-school style, Shinyletter has a service that might be of interest. Simply type out your letter, choose a font style and Shinyletter will print and mail your letter anywhere in the world for $2.
They have mailing centers throughout the world, so a letter sent overseas could arrive within days instead of weeks. To me, that is the real advantage to this service. If you have family half way around the world, for example, you could save a significant amount of money using the service if you send them handwritten letters frequently.
Shinyletter has been operating since 2006. Phase 2 of it’s beta is lauching soon.
